Support & FAQ

As of September 15, 2026

This is the support page for the diary app "Daymoir." If you run into trouble, please check the FAQ below or contact us.

Contact

The most reliable way to reach us is from Settings → "Inquiries & Feedback" in the app. You can read our reply on the same screen, and we'll also notify you with a push notification when it arrives.

If you can't open the app, you can also reach us by email at support@daymoir.app.

The Operator handles support alone, so a reply may take a few days.

I want to cancel my paid plan

Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then "Subscriptions," select Daymoir, and cancel. Cancellation happens on Apple's side — it can't be done from within the app.

If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the current term ends, it will renew automatically for the same term. If you cancel mid-term, you can keep using the paid plan until the term ends.

My paid plan isn't showing up / I switched devices

Open the menu in the top-left of the app → "Upgrade," then tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom of the screen. If the purchase was made with the same Apple Account, it will be restored.

If you deleted your account and signed back in, your paid plan won't return until you tap "Restore Purchases."

Will my diary entries carry over if I switch devices?

Your diary entries are stored on our servers. Sign in with the same Apple Account on your new device via Sign in with Apple, and you'll be able to read them right away.

Your reminder time, theme, and launch-lock setting are stored only on your device, so you'll need to set them up again on the new device.

I'm not receiving notifications

Check whether notifications are allowed under Settings → "Daymoir" → "Notifications" on your iPhone. If they're not allowed, a warning also appears on the app's notification screen.

You can set the time for your diary-writing reminder from Settings → "Reminder" in the app. This notification is delivered only to the device where you set it.

I want to join a shared journal

Get the 8-character invite code from the person who invited you, then enter it from the menu in the top-left of the app → "Add a Journal" → "Join with an Invite Code."

Content and display names posted to a shared journal can be read by every member of that journal. Please give the invite code only to the person you want to invite.

Is my diary used to train the AI?

No. AI processing such as formatting diary entries uses Amazon Bedrock, processed within Japan. Amazon Bedrock does not use inputs or outputs to train models, and does not share them with model providers. The Operator likewise never uses Diary Data to train AI models. See the Privacy Policy for details.

The AI-written diary entry doesn't match what actually happened

AI-generated text is not guaranteed to be accurate. You can edit a diary entry after it's saved, so please go ahead and correct it yourself. If the formatting keeps coming out wrong, it helps if you let us know through the inquiry form.

I want to delete my account

You can withdraw from Settings → "Delete Account" at the bottom of the app. All diary entries, photos, and recaps will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Withdrawing does not automatically cancel a paid-plan subscription. Please cancel it separately using the steps under "I want to cancel my paid plan" above.

Inquiry records are kept even after withdrawal, as a record used to inform future improvements (we remove the link to your account). If you'd like them deleted first, please contact support@daymoir.app before withdrawing.

I found a bug / I have a feature request

Please send it from Settings → "Inquiries & Feedback" in the app. It helps us investigate if you describe which screen you were on and what you were doing when it happened.
